Dashed to Shivers is a collection of abstract fragments mixing physical paintings with a generative algorithm picking colors and structures and reinterpreting them. Fragments are dropped on a daily basis.
Each fragment starts with a colorful abstraction with actual paint on physical paper. Oncer tried, each artefact is scanned with a high resolution scanner and added to the collection of potential fragments.
A p5js-based sketch is then executed every morning picking one of the artefacts and transforming it into a generative painting using the colors and location found in the artefact.
